Colombian flower evenings, the latest...
Between July and October last year Colombian flowers were promoted at a number of open evenings hosted by wholesalers around the UK including a number of FWTA members. Over 800 florists in total attended to see a huge range of flowers from Colombia being used to make up a large number of stunning wedding designs. Each evening featured a display of named varieties so that florists could identify which ones they particularly liked and ask for these when placing their orders. Feedback from attendees was extremely positive with many florists indicating that they would be switching to Colombian flowers in the future.
