Gilbert Thompson handed to next generation

FWTA member, Gilbert Thompson has been handed over to the fourth generation of the Thompson family after a management buyout. Daniel and his brother Richard have bought the 100 year old business from their father David who has retired from the firm after almost 50 years. The company was started in 1909 by Daniel and Richard’s great-grandfather Gilbert Thompson and comes to the brothers via their grandfather Clifford and father David.
